, but we hope to find the next best thing…a dog loving modX developer.
We are planning a group of dog product review sites and would like to have them use ModX as the core CMS. I don’t know if ModX is the right platform for this type of site and I hope you will let me know why it is or is not and what I can clarify for this project.
The goal of the site(s) are to give involved dog owners the most information possible about specific dog products.
The first phase of development is to get the core content management system functioning, this includes:
Basic Navigation and url structure
Ability to edit page text, page titles
Access levels for editors, admin, etc.
Basic functioning Home, Category, Product and Static Pages
Ability to upload product pictures and video/video links
The second phase is implementing the CSS layout that will be done by the designer.
The third phase is to add the ability to have user reviews and comments on the products and also be able to upload their own products, descriptions and videos. Also adding statistics, such as most popular, best rated, etc.
anticipated start time: to be determined
anticipated job duration: 1 month for the first and second phase, I am not sure how long the third phase is going to take.
budget constraints: seeking bids
payment terms: milestone/phased payments
IP ownership constraints (e.g., can the work be donated back to the community): yes, we would like to support the community as much as possible.
