    Hello,

I am about to go on holiday for 7 days, and my company are a little worried that they don’t have anyone in house that would be able to act as support if anything goes wrong with a few modx sites that I have been developing for them.

So they are keen to get someone who has a GOOD knowledge of modx to act as support incase something goes wrong.

Ideally they’d be in the UK and even better they’d be near Oxford.

If anyone is out there who might be suitable then send me a message

    cheers

      Hi Graham,

How about checking modx commercial support services?

        Hello Zi,

thanks for that - I did look into this.

But really, what is needed (if I didn’t make it clear) is someone who knows some programming, and is willing to be able to edit / change / alter any snippets I’ve written, be able to re-install an existing site if the server goes down (that I’ve created).

I was under the impression that the commercial Support offered by Modx probably wouldn’t cover what is needed for this.

We could do that for you Graham. Wouldn’t be at the same rate as those’re a bit more involved tasks. Garry is in Licolnshire so at least it’s the same time zone.

ok, that sounds promising. I am hoping nothing will go wrong while I am away, but Work needs to have at least the knowledge that there might be someone about who could help if needed.

who would it be best for me to contact? (if we don’t sort out a local option before hand) to discuss the possibility of support?

            cheers

Being an hour down the road from you on the South coast I’d be happy to offer this, but unfortunately I’m going away next week as well!
