As I am starting to do well with my own business projects, I am looking to slowly drop all of my clients.
First up:
I have a client who needs a modx site here and there (I implemented 4 for him last year).
Currently, he has a larger project ready to go, and may require use of some of the snippets like Ditto, Wayfinder, etc... so I need to work with someone that definitely more experienced that beyond the raw basics, and maybe can even custom develop Modx with your own PHP plugins/snippets. Typicially, he has all the HTML and design already done for him, and just needs it implemented into Modx, and sometimes guidence on how to use Modx. Sometimes I need to hack up the CSS/HTML to make it work with Wayfinder, or other things, so you should definitely have very stong HTML and CSS skills.
I am open to options here, but here are a few:
1. I just sub-contract it to you.
2. I give you the client, and you give me a small kickback for work you do for him (for a defined period of time) - PREFERRED.
3. I sell you the client for single fee.
I recommend using payment terms such as 50% upfront, and 50% upon delivery. He has a solid business and should provide work for years to come.
Feel free to ask general questions here, or PM me as needed.
Whereabouts are you/he based?

Feel free to contact me. You can go to my website (
http://www.my619.com) and check out my portfolio. Virtually all my sites over the last 1 and 1/2 year have been MODx. I set them up exclusively in CSS (unless tables are needed for a specific reason) and in the last 4 months I’ve been validating my sites (most in my portfolio are not though).
I’m actually from Texas (what part is he in?), but currently have my company in San Diego. I have a client in Austin, TX and few others scattered around the nation. Feel free to contact me:
