I have been doing MODx projects for this agency for the last couple of years. It has always worked out well, even though I am in Germany and they are in North Carolina in the U.S. They have picked up a number of projects recently and I am absolutely tied down with a more-than-full time job. We have come to the conclusion that we need someone else. The work normally entails taking a PSD and making it into a MODx CMS. Sometimes however the files are already html and css. The main part of the work thus far has been creating custom snippets or enhancing existing ones.

In the future we will probably be working together on various projects, depending on whether the U.S. will ever issue me a visa.

This is what the company has written:

NC (USA) multimedia firm seeking Modx developer for contract work.
Compensation based on experience and efficiency. Hourly or per build wage negotiable.
If interested, please send resume and list of Modx sites you have developed to kevin at zgda.com.

I’d also like to see some of the snippets you have put together if possible, maybe with a link to them in the repository?

Good luck to anyone interested, and feel free to throw any questions in this direction.

Hey Taff, are you only looking for PHP coders and the like or is there room for designers?

At the moment, the agency consists of 4 designers. I do most of their coding at the moment, but am having severe difficulties keeping up with their deadlines, due to a full-time job on the side....so to answer your question, I’m afraid they are only looking for MODx developers...or possibly EE.
