Migration to MODx

Hi,

I’m in the initial stages of putting together a costing for moving a client’s site from an existing CMS produced by their previous web supplier to MODx.

The site itself is large at roughly 500 pages.

I’m hoping to get in touch with a PHP/MySQL guru who can help to automate the migration as much as possible, their existing site is PHP and MySQL.

What is the other CMS?

I sent a PM last week requesting a bit more info, no reply as yet.

@mregan: I asked mwalsh last week if it was a home-brewed CMS and he confirmed that it is. I don’t know any other details.

I think I will pass - migrating a well documented CMS is enough of a problem. I don’t need the headaches
