Hi, we need a new website.
I would prefer a UK based developer. I am based in London.
The timeframe for quotes is short - decision date July 15th, site up and running Sept/October time ideally
I have one MODx quote for a new website; charity rules require several.
We should be a good client as we have scoped out our requirements fairly well.
Please contact me for full details.
    See below for outline.
    james

    Budget
current annual budget 10,000 USD - for hosting, redevelopment, support. Startup budget not fixed.
    Who we are:
A medical imaging charity with 1000 members. I am UK based, but 2/3s members are US based.
    What we want:
new website, migration of existing content (250 pages/items). Onging support, hosting, development budget, minimum 3 years, established company with more than 1 person employed.
    Website features
broadly the same look as current, but with a great CMS (eg MODx).
    key features
required: Good CMS. Random movies in homepage header, web forum, members area, website membership list with main organisation dbase (an access dbase), course listing/calender feature, all our video-on-demand educational material
desired but not essential: any features that increase the cohesion of our community eg homepage list of recent forum topics, map of geographical location of logged on IP addresses, member directory, live chat
Possible: pay for access for web video-on-demand educational material.
Future requirement: year 2: either links to separately hosted moodle website (this would reduce your ongoing development budget) or moodle subsection of main site.
    anticipated start time:
decision date july 15th. implementation date must be by december, preferably september
    budget constraints:
    current website www.scmr.org
