I am a reasonably adept CSS/html coder but fairly new to MODx and php/MySQL driven sites (I have a couple of database driven sites under my belt now). A potential client has presented me with a web development job that I am inclined to take on, but I would want to work with someone who really knows the MODx ropes. For instance, the site will require the integration of a mailing-list signup, and the ability to create news items that post to the site and can also be easily sent out to all individuals who have signed the mailing list. I am sure, in time, I could figure out all of the module/snippet installations and configurations, but the contract would not give me too much room for error so I think the best bet is to team up with someone right off the bat. The basic site design is largely in place and I have already jumped on the CSS development. The site is for a corporate client and would probably involve about 3 primary templates to format maybe 30 pages or so. I am located near Ft Pierce Florida, but the work could obviously done remotely.

If anyone is interested in this contract possibility, please reply with information about your background and - ideally - links to your work. In addition to having the raw development ability, please also be a responsible professional who is a good communicator and able to get things done according to schedule. I am still negotiating with the client about a final price. My guess is that the job would pay a collaborator somewhere around $1500.

Thanks in advance for any replies.
