I’m just starting and have a page that I coded using Dreamweaver CS4.
My next step (now that I have MODx running with XAMPP) is to bring the page into modx and assign the areas that the client will have control of. Which is primarily the center content area. None of the navigation will be changed by the client. I’ve come across allot of tutorials and I’m not sure where to start?

Here is a link to my coded page in our beta area. > http://www.oz2designs.com/beta/BonesOfPA/index03.html

The section with the full skeleton will either be in Flash or jQuery I have not decided yet. All the real estate in black is to be client controlled area. Also the space just right of the Skeleton over the medical symbol.

I’ll need to add a search and login where members can update thier information in the members database.

I created then ported through coding another CMS site into Wordpress and used PODS to develop the CMS areas. Everyone at PODS was very helpful.
From what I’ve read MODx is more code friendly. Being a designer that appeals to me.
    I’ve rambled long enough.
Thank you in advance for any advice or assistance.
