I have a site where I’ve implemented TeasureChest for PayPal Website Payments Standard - this is a really nice solution but I need help with a couple of specific issues that would really put the icing on the cake in terms of making this very usable.

    1. Currently although the inventory counts down as items are sold (makes use of PayPal IPN / PDT) but when the inventory reaches zero the items still display on the site. So preferably I need some coding that would say ’if inventory zero - then product invisible’ or if this is not possible then ’if inventory zero - then price=SOLD’. Currently the sold item still appears on the site although it’s not possible to add it to the cart - which is fine but could lead to a frustrated customer.

    2. More of PayPal problem really. Currently TreasureChest allows for a flat rate shipping cost on a per product basis (and if necessary a handling cost). The problem is that I need one shipping cost for the UK and one for the rest of the world. Unfortunately the UK version of PayPal Website Payments Standard does not allow for shipping rates on a per country basis (bummer!) so I need to find some way of establishing if a customer requires delivery outside of UK so an extra charge can be applied. I thought about somehow using the handling option we have, to add this extra charge? Or somehow getting the customer to fill in a delivery address before proceeding to PayPal but then that would be duplicating ’work’ for the customer - so any ideas?

Site is built and ready to go at any time.

    Budget: £300 GBP

Terms: Half on proposal / feasible plan of action - half on completion after testing

Ownership - TreasureChest is free to modify but not to redistribute so I propose making any modifications freely available to the author of TreasureChest so he may continue to develop what is surely the most user friendly e-commerce app to come out of MODx so far.

EDIT: TreasureChest has now gone GPL and so I will make any code or modifications available to the MODx community.
