    Hi,

I have a need to use MODx for one of the clients for their internal knowledge management website (something on the lines of a wiki) and was wondering if we can use MODx for the same. More than the features, I am interested in the licencing aspects. Does the client need a commercial license etc or is MODx free for use even for a company internal website. Please point me to relevant documentations.

Note : I have seen the commercial support sections. I dont think they will need support. My query is specifically if they need to take a license to use it at all.

    Regards,
    Vinayak

MODx is licensed under the GPL and your client would be completely within the license using it on an intranet or a public website for that matter. No commercial license required or even available. smiley
