We’ve been running MODx for the past year. The traffic is continuously growing and we are in the process of implementing a 3rd party social network (SmallWorldLabs) to the site (friends, groups, pics, videos, etc).
We are looking for a PHP, MySQL developer with a good knowledge of MODx. Since the traffic is growing and we already had 3 instances of ’Slashdot effects’, we would also like to come up with a Load Balancing solution for our site.
Here is the scope on what we need to do:
1. Single Sign-on implementation for MODx with Small World Labs (and possibly Wordpress)
2. Evaluation (and fixing) of currently used snippets for performance issues.
3. Transitioning of the current single server installation to a load balancing solution.
This is a temporary project with a possibility to become a full-time position for qualified candidate.
We would like to start on this project ASAP.
