Found a developer who will do this.
Need a carbon calculator snippet for various carbon impacts. A spreadsheet with information and calculations is available to help you get started.
- Extension needs to be written in PHP, output XHTML, and display using AJAX.
- Needs to be a stand alone app, a MODx only Snippet. Be nice if it could record the results into user accounts.
- Starting with 1 calculator: auto (spreadsheet contains complete automobile data).
- An easier calculator (Flight) is needed later.
- See http://www.terrapass.com/ for an example
Two goals with this Snippet are:
1) Let registered Users calculate their carbon usage and record that into their User Account; and possibly send that data to the eCommerce part of the site.
2) Let any web user calculate their carbon usage just out of curiosity. See http://www.terrapass.com/ for an example.
Reply only if you have experience with developing MODx apps. Send a link to your previous work. Reply if you’re available to start this ASAP, and also send a time frame of how long you think this would require to develop; ask me questions to aid your estimate. US developers only please.
If you want my assistance in anyway, just ask. Your work will be used to fuel the clean energy revolution that’s happening.
