I need a drop-down menu to match the template I am using currently at: http://howtobehealthy.ca/modx-0.9.6/
I will also need that person to set the wayfinder configuration for the site.

I am too busy and will pay someone $25 as a gesture for helping me. All i ask is that the menu look like it actually belongs in the template. smiley

I can’t see any drop down menu on the link mentioned above?

This is the original http://www.designsbydarren.com/previews/naturalist/, but there are no second level menu items.
I expect that’s what is causing the problem.

David,

Correct, there are 3 top-level pages. Each of those will have 2nd-level (and possibly 3rd-level) children.

Abd again, correct, the template that I’m using doesn’t have any sub-menus, hence this post.... I am looking for someone to add them to the design (with the appropriate wayfinder config).

Hope that clarifies.

Joseph

It’s pretty easy...this would do a fine job, I think:

Were you planning on a vertical or horizontal drop down ?
A vertical might look strange with only 3 top level items and so many second level items, it would also obscure the content on hover.
But then trying to fit 15 items in a horizontal direction could be tricky in an 800px wide page!
You could have a second separate menu in the right column displaying the children of the appropriate parent.
As Susan said it’s not too difficult but requires setting up the Wayfinder chunks to create the correct order of
&
tags, which can seem daunting.
Just my thoughts, if you decide exactly the way you want go with this, I’m happy to help.

David,
I like the idea of the sub-menu being on the right navigation bar.
