    Hi all
I need a simple Product order form, that could be done in eForm. But I would like my client to be able to manage the products himself.
My Idea was to have a folder Products, where the individual Products would be called via Ditto into a order form. There is no Payment Gateway needed, as all the orders are handled as prepayed, also no shipping options a granted.

here is the current http://www.francinejordi.ch/deutsch/fanartikel.php form in a static page.

This is one Project, but I am also looking for a Developer for other projects coming up. Actually I am looking for a partnership with a modx developer.

    - Time is short the system should run by the 26. of November
    - These are payed requests of course. (Please Quote)
    - The snippet could be conributet to the MODx community after completion.
    - Payment on delivery.

Please let me know if anyone is willing to give it a go.

So basically you just want the Ditto output to be product summaries with a checkbox, and when the customer clicks "send order", it emails you the checked items (plus their contact info)?

You could actually use eForm, and have the Ditto call as a $modx->runSnippet() call in eForm’s eFormOnBeforeFormParse event to load the product fields into the final form to be displayed.

This sounds interesting, but unfortunately my eyes have been giving out over the last year or so, and I hesitate to commit myself to anything like this because I never know from one day to the next how much time I’m going to be able to spend on the computer.

                Susan thanks

yes this is what I am looking for, but I am not deep enough into programming for this one.

You could actually use eForm, and have the Ditto call as a $modx->runSnippet() call in eForm's eFormOnBeforeFormParse event to load the product fields into the final form to be displayed.

I guess with a little help I should be able to manage this. I guess I need a tv or two, one for the Product Image one as textfield for the ordered amount. I have also built eForms, this is straight forward. But the rest, how to get the ditto call into the eform, there it ends of lack of my knowledge.

so maybe you could help me with some advice?

Hm. Actually, it should be "onBeforeFormMerge", I think. That’s when the form is put together and displayed originally. Not finding much in the way of documentation on using that event. I have a few ideas, I’ll check them out and get back to you. Posting a request for more info on the event on the eForm forum as well.
