Has anyone any tips as to how best to access MODx Manager Interface / and or to update pages - seems to be very clumsy in layout - I’m using HTC HD2 which has one of the larger screens but Manager will not let me update via Opera so have to use IE - plus can not use quick edit as top nav bar does not appear to work - are there any quick ways / fixes that anyone uses?
Certain things were simply not made for one another. MODx’s manager uses some very robust JavaScript libraries like EXTJS that are simply not suitable for certain browsers.
Frankly, I don’t see why anyone would want to do website maintenance from their phone. This is IT work we’re talking about. The phone should be used for voice/data and basic web browsing and the serious stuff like website maintenance is better handled by computers with good screen resolution
