How to have extra boxes with out adding snippets

Hi Every Body,

I am kind of new to modx but i love it because it is so easy and can easily be modified. I am starting a new project which is not very big (around 8 pages). But i was wondering how can i have a multiple boxes in sidebars with out editing the template. Something like Joomla where you can create boxes and add content to it. Is there a module i need to download or something else. I did a test by my self and what i did was copy the Friends list and edit it. Then change it to Adds and then call the module where i need it. The problem is i dont mind editing the template but for the end user it is difficult. Also can i add this module to the Repository?

to create additional box in your template you can use template variables, simply create a Tv (ie: sidebarcontent) with input type rich text and put in your template sidebar [*sidebarcontent*].

By any change could you please give me an example i notice there are diffrent field sets in TVs or is there a documentation some where about TVs
