I have recently started using a lightweight markup language to develop my content, and I love it. I would love it even more if there were an integrated Textile or Markdown editor for MODx Revolution. I understand that there is something like this for Evo, but no Revo. This would be a really cool plugin!

      I agree smiley

With HandyMan (see first link in my sig) I’ll be integrating Markdown for the rich text fields, and when I get to that stage of development it is my intention to look into developing a Markdown "RTE" plugin to accompany it. Never worked on plugins like that though, so if someone who does have that experience wants to give it a try.. go for it tongue

You can easily integrate MarkItUp in MODx Revolution, but it will require to also include jquery to make it work.
I tested it when Revo was still in bêta, it worked nicely.
With a nice php parser it can be really useful i agree!
