The online help in revolution opens in a modal window, and you can’t do anything with whatever you were working on when you wanted to get help. I’d rather see a standard popup window that lets you access the page while the help window remains open.

You can just open rtfm.modx.com in a different tab, right?

I must admit I never use the inline help system, but most other modal windows in Revolution can be moved, and you can still use what’s behind them.

I’ve had clients complaining to me their text editor wasn’t working... told them to disable their pop up blocker.. they did.. except those other three that came installed with their unwanted toolbars. Imo, it’s best to keep it modal like it is. Lol.

I can, and I do. But ckicking the help button is context-sensitive and opens the relevant help page, which means I’m throwing away time navigating through help in the new tab/window to get to the same place.

This sounds like a pretty valid feature request for post 2.1 since it should be out in a few weeks. If you want to post this in http://bugs.modx.com with the details it would be helpful.

          Thanks,
