MODx 2.0.6 pl2 works but it needs to get a lot faster to be serious.
Just for fun I tried Umbraco CMS on ASP.NET. It was a little like MODx bot a hole lot faster.
My wish for version 2.1 and 2.2. is not a lot of new functions but a system that is stable - and speedy.
I’m not happy with Revo manager speed to.
But I also don’t understand why Revo generates around 4 queries for cached page. (It’s ok for sessions, but there is more)
Evolution cached page generates zero queries.

2.0.3 I think already improved it by not wasting an extra query fetching resource fields, so I think the devs are aware it at least seems slow.
I can also confirm that in browsers other then FF it’s much faster, which seems to be related to awesome addons such as firebug.

Oh, okay. Thanks for the correction
Learn something new every day..
Its good to see that this aspect has a high priority.
Too often we see that a new product is launched with a bunch of new functions in stead of a bunch of new improvements.
Not that I would take away a single function in MODx 2.0.6. I think it is a great piece of work.
