Turn resource ( page ) into weblink

Hey all,

One feature I would love to see in Modx is the ability to turn a resource into a weblink and vice versa.

Sometimes clients change their mind in wanting a page to instead link to a site but keep the same navigation layout, for example they might have a external gallery or blog and at the time of go live link to it, but then after a month decide that they want it contained within modx, currently the only way to do this is to create a new resource and then have to edit all other resources to change the menu index to keep the same navigation.

Would be nice to see a tick box or something where you could select resource or weblink, this would also remove the need for "Create resource here" and "create weblink here" from the options.

Any thoughts on this ??

You can do it now in Revo: Page Settings -> Class Key.

Only developed the one site in revo and that is my own site so never had the need for it so never noticed it. Dohhh

Is there any plans to add that ability to evo ??

I guess theres still a lot I need to learn about Revo
