Hi there, straight to the point, how can I integrate what this tutorial says into my site in modx?

Each marker would correspond to each of my (child)documents. I want to display on the homepage the map with all the markers and in each document display the marker correspondent to it.
Should I create a new table for the markers like the tutorial says or should I put those atributes(lat lng) in the modxs tables and scan them from there?
