Well, I am considering options for my first package build with ModX, I see no point to support Evo as if we make the right plugins for Revo, it will essentially kill or branch Evo...

So, is there already a solution for quickedit (frontend editing) for Revo? I’ve search Hi and Lo for one and there doesn’t seem to be one. Would this be a good one to do as it seems to be highly requested.

Have a look at Frontpage in extras.
Use MODx, or the cat gets it!

Hmmm, I like it, but I was looking for something that closer resembled the quickedit in Evo. With maybe in-place editing capabilities? I love the editor (RTE) that you chose to use. However, that editor is great for experienced web designers and I fear that it may be too complicated for some clients that require front end editing.
I was thinking of including the Aloha Editor.for the in-place editing because it is simple enough for the most simple-minded and find a solution for image and other resource editing.

Yes, fair enough, I’m fully expecting there to be more than one front end editing solution for Revo, as you say different clients have different needs, I don’t think a one size fits all approach will work well here so yes please develop away.
