I think the ability to export access policies and importing them would be a great feature.
Most of my client projects want user logins with limited access so I create a policy and apply it to a Content Editor. Usually it restricts them from the system settings, managing users, etc. But I have to recreate this policy for each site, its kind of a pain!

I don’t install MODx anew for each site. I copy an existing site instead, with all required settings / modules / snippets already in place. It makes life so much easier...
That is not a bad idea but then I would have to go through the process of upgrading. I like to always be using the latest version.
I am going to file this as a bug right away.
