Revolution - templates to be able to "use template".

I would like to bulid sites with template within teplates.
Eg. A main template for the universal design and sub templates within this template.
With resource/page connected to the sub template by "use template" the sub template can call the main template.

I started a thread in the templates forum regarding how to do it, but think it may be a feature worth requesting.

Universal parts of templates can be done with chunks, for example

[[$htmlHeader]] for the <head>...</head> part
[[$mainMenu]] for the universal main menu
[[$Footer]] for the universal footer.

These would go in all your templates.

I’m aware that I can use chunks to bulid the template, but this is like bulid the roof and walls (although as prefabricated modules) all over again everytime I’m to make a sub template, and if theres a need to make drastic changes to the initial template one needs to go through all templates to make those changes.

So even if there is a solution to accomplish what I would like to achieve, I still think leting templates "use templates" inheriting the templates above would be a nice feature.
