The main delay is we want to fix the audio then compressed versions will come out. There are more compressed version on my site noted above.

Can we just tell youtube to consume them from one of those pages?

The main reason the videos haven’t gone on youtube is the audio needs to be improved. I don’t have the time or skills to do that and thus the videos are to be corrected. You’re more than welcome to share them on youtube, vimeo, etc if you like, just give me credit please and let me know so I can share the link with others interested.

I just saw this post and thought I would share a little.

Easy video converting

You will need this program: http://handbrake.fr/ to convert them and http://www.videolan.org/ to watch the converted videos on your PC. But once you have them converted to a flv format you can put them on your server and use a flash movie player like http://flowplayer.org/ or http://www.longtailvideo.com/.

Step 1: Install handbrake and open it up
Step 2: Find the video Source
Step 3: Set the Destination and make sure the destination file extension is “.flv”
Step 4: Set the Picture tab options as noted in hb-picture.jpg
Step 5: Set the Video Tab options as noted in hb-video.jpg
Step 6: click Start
Step 7: Check to converted video and then watch it to make sure it worked correctly. I usually get over 90% reduction in file size.

Now post it online and step up a page with a flash player. I have a php class for the flowplayer and if I ever get enough time I will convert it to a Revolution package.
