Modx and Eve online API connection

I love this CMS look and functionality but alas im still lost on API code and XML back end setups, as which the "EVE ONLINE API" runs off but joomla manage to make something but alas i dont like there CMS.

So im willing to learn the code or test it or what ever but it would be awesome to make a complete suit for Eve through Modx

Anyone willing to take the challenge,

Which MODx version are you talking about? Evolution or Revolution?

has all the URLs that can be requested, now they end up giving a un styled xml sheet which im lost after that on how to use the whole thing.

So your looking for a way to get an XML feed and display it on your website with evolution?

and to answer your question yes thats what im looking to try to do

now the best API ive found for this is ALe http://sourceforge.net/projects/eve-apiphp/

now this seems to be the best way to get information from eve to be shown into php but i guess my whole missions here is to first before i start jumping into other things is as you said

id like to know how to get those linked output into something i can work with and not raw xml
