In Evo I use Jot for that sort of thing. Easy to implement, easy to manage, easy to customize output. Actually I use Notes, which is an extension to Jot adding category and position fields to the main table.

But that’s not what Jot is meant for, and furthermore it fragments management (use backend for everything, except for updating the "your list here", go to the frontend for that). Imagine how much power you would get if the mechanism would incorporate all field-types in Revo.

Just to add my 2 cents.

Jot is not meant to do one thing... this is MODx and not other CMS
It may have been programmed to do comments in a blog but
MODx is very flexible and you can use it for whatever works, like
Susan is using it... please dont think that it does only one thing,
that it is a block or a module, or that you can only use it for the
reason the original person uses it, be free and use it for many things
          as long as it works...

I’m pretty excited about that. Having MODx with it’s solid pagebased structure AND a way of modeling and managing other content/data seems like a killer combination. I’m

Nice! Thanks a bunch! The only other CMS I use atm is ExpressionEngine because of this "feature", and this would make me completely monogamous to MODx. If you need input lemme know smiley always glad to help.
