registration that sand a mail for verification

hi everyone,
i looking for a registration system that send a mail to the user for confirm and complete the registration.
I have problem with a lot o fake registrations that fill my user table, and i want to block this stupid activity.

yesss! thanks a ton mrhaw, but I gotta tell ya, after submitting my site and email, putting the key in the inc.php file, I’d thought I’d explore the site a bit more in-depth, shoulda been vice versa, his links page looks like a bot’s link list of drive-by sites in of itself! getting a bit paranoid here ....damn where did I leave my tinfoil helmet?
