I know there were many discussions around this.
But since ModX is becoming a major player in the CMS world, we may not avoid this too long.
I use opengoo, but still the different system makes a different login system, too.
And it gives a big job for an administrator for a big organization.
I’ve seen the "../manager/frames/menu.php", it seems that the additional menu tab should hack the core, not like adding module. Is there any "flexible" way to do this?
The attachment is a rough proposal that I copied from the opengoo, just a brainstorming.
Meanwhile, I’ll try to make this from the front end.

That’s going to require some serious reworking of the way the main menus work in Evo. Please file a request in JIRA for this (not the Groupware-specific part, just the menus), to enable custom registration of menus and submenu items.

Ow, forgot to mention in the jira posting, about the ACL to the additional Menu tab.
Thx, Ryan.

this is an excellent idea (I hope the core MODx team is closely following the "Enterprise 2.0" trend) and I think it would be the type of thing that would be great for revolution.
