    I think it’d be a very useful feature to be able to create a different type of chunk with a custom editing interface depending on the content input requirement.
    Currently with chunks you are confined to a text editor for friendly rich-text / image editing.
    Wouldn’t it be nice to have the same flexibility with chunks that template variables add to template views? So for example you could build a custom chunk that had image and file upload widgets, text field, etc.

    And maybe in your code you’d call the chunk like this: {{chunkname? &tpl=`custom-chunk-format`}}

    It’s such a fantastic idea I’m sure it’s already in the pipeline ;-

      That would be interesting indeed, and I somehow think this could be pulled off with a plugin in Revo fairly easily.

        What comes to my mind on this proposal is a kind of "mini-template", i.e. it is inserted somewhere in the content field like a chunk, but is also a template in that there are template variables associated with it. Is it this thing we are talking about?
