It would make things much nicer for duplicating a template if all the TV’s followed it.
If I am going to copy an old template chances are I am going to be using the same TV’s and my sites seem to be very TV centric and I have to go through em all each time...
Its not a big thing.. just one of those small nice things to add to MODx.

I think this has been done in 0963. You could also do something with my automatic default tvs plugin. If you’ve got 30-40 TVs, it be worth it to change a few settings.
I am only using two templates on the current site.. like.. its just a pain sometimes and glad to hear its coming out in the new release...
