In 0.9.6, when you check the "stay at this page" option when editing anything (a document, for example), it moves the cursor back to the first character, so if you were saving a page to test some code out, you’d have to manually return to where that code was.
Kinda seems counter-productive, IMHO.
Soshite,
You should suggest that as a new feature by clicking on the "Bugs & Support" link at the top of this page (if it’s not there already).

I’m not altogether sure this is feasible; it’s not like hitting the ’back’ button or refreshing the page; your browser handles that "scroll to last known cursor location" business in those cases. This is a whole new load of the page, and to complicate the matter you’re probably talking about being in a specific location in the textarea field.

FWIW, the 0.9.7 manager can already accomplish this since it uses Ajax requests to save the data. Of course, if you trigger an error you’re going to be taken to the field causing the error, but otherwise, it works exactly how you describe.
