I would like to see these features integrated into the core (perhaps by creating a slight upgrade to WebLoginPE to integrate).
Give web users the ability to manage their own profile.
Let web users add or remove themselves from a user group. Not any and all groups, just what is presented by the web designer for email subscriptions, calendar groups, special site access, etc.
The option to send an email upon user registration with a verification link.
Open ID support
and finally integrate with Google everything, whenever possible. (such as having a Google Talk field in the user profile - by default)
