Hey I’m working on a site with over two dozen user accounts. I noticed that in the manager groups it lists the usernames that are in that group under each group heading. Why can’t this be done for the Roles tab as well? It would be nice to have the user accounts listed under each role with a link to click and edit them just like the manager groups section. I found that after entering all my accounts that I had to individually click each one to check to make sure that I had set the roles properly and that was quite cumbersome.

Has anyone else mentioned this? Is it difficult to include?

    thanks

Great idea - we’ll look into it for 0.9.7.

Should be a "sort by" or "view by" option, view by group, view by role... I would do it with dropdowns, a list of groups, and if you select a group it displays the users in that group, likewise the dropdown for roles.

Not exactly. This would be on the main users page, where one could choose to view a list of all users, or select a group and get a list of all users in that group, or select a role and view a list of all users in that role. Would also be nice to have a few sort options for the user list too, perhaps a "sortby" select with a menu made from the column names, username, email, last name, etc. This could be dynamic, generating the menu from existing values, excluding the password. All kinds of possibilities here. Maybe even make the filter dynamic, based on existing fields excepting the password field. View all users in a given group, in a given city. Sort by last name. Actually, once I get a working copy of 097 up and see how the database is arranged, this is the sort of thing I would like to play with. Fun with AJAX.
