I use the tutorial that allows for using a TV to show select chunks, since I run a site for a RPG series, and it has multiple spells/etc. that made something like that useful.

Since the names of the spells carry over from game to game for continuity reasons, I happened to notice that even if a chunk is in a separate category, ModX cannot separate them, and will show one of them over the other (no idea which one it would pick, though --- I don’t know enough about the code to tell why) in the front-end.

In the rare case someone happens to do something like this, or goofs up on a chunk for some reason, I think having an option to stop duplicate chunks from being made, just like the one already in place for aliases, would be useful. I’d imagine it wouldn’t take all that much to add it (and give it an off/on option in the Configuration). smiley

Chunks have to have unique names, period. They are globally accessible elements, and thus have to be unique. Having two with the same name with prevent one from ever being accessible. In 0.9.7, these tables will have unique index constraints and validation to prevent creating multiple chunks with the same name.
