Hi folks!
Here are two ideas that got in my mind while I made some pages for friends with modx.
- unlimited TVs
For example, I made a TV named [*left_bar#*] and i put it in a chunk, so the customer (who will get the page, and has no idea of modx) can now
decide how many of these left_bars he wants to insert. Right now its possible to add them, but with the same content. It would be nice if the customer
could just insert as many as he wants, without having to go in the backend to create a tv.
- edit chunks in QuickEdit
Would be also ncie to have a checkbox when creating a chunk, that ask if you want this chunk tob e displayed in QuickEdit.
For example if i make a chunk for the copyright, wich will be displayed at the bottom of every page. Now the customer could be able
to edit one chunk for every site (thats why chunks are made for aren’t they) in the quickedit, without going into the backend.
Now you could ask, why should he not go in the backend and just modify everything there. Because most people who want webdesigner to make their page
dont want to learn a cms, or html.
