I’d really like an integration module/snippet, something along the lines of the Sugar Self-Serve Portal (
http://www.sugarforge.org/frs/?group_id=10 bottom of the page).
I don’t really have the time right now to build the whole thingamajig myself.
The only thing I’ll be doing at the moment is a connection that adds any new registering user to the leads in SugarCRM, with a note that he/she came from MODx. But what I’d really like is a complete integration, where the user can alter all their information, and that gets reflected in the SugarCRM database.
Ideally, the information should reside ONLY inside SugarCRM, so that all user handling is done in Sugar, and none in MODx. The reason for this is that all the stuff that a customer wants to do with the info gets done in Sugar anyway, not in MODx. So I guess what I want is a snippet to use SugarCRM user info for login in MODX.
I don’t want MODx to swell into a portal dohickey, I like the fact that almost everything is an add-on. It keeps the standard installation svelte and super fast, both to install and to learn. Flexibility and choice, that’s what it’s all about here...
Any takers? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Dr Scotty?
