I hope this is the right forum for simple feature requests.
I and others have had problems with the Quickedit headers using relative paths when in conjunction with clean URL’s.
Here is the code in question:
<!-- Start QuickEdit headers -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="{$manager_path}media/script/scriptaculous/prototype.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="{$qe_path}/javascript/Cookie.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="{$qe_path}/javascript/Drag.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="{$qe_path}/javascript/moo.fx.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="{$qe_path}/javascript/QuickEdit.js"></script>
<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="/{$qe_path}/styles/toolbar.css" />
<!-- End QuickEdit headers -->
If you use clean URL’s, and traverse downwards into your site (ie via subfolders), the Quickedit js files do not correctly load because:
path/to/file.js does not exist on that level. Using a trailing slash would help because /path/to/file.js does exist. However, this would only work when Modx is installed in the root.
There is a thread on this topic were ConseilsWeb makes a good suggestion on how to resolve the problem. It looks as if this solution would work in cases where Modx has been installed in both the root, and a sub-folder. The thread is here:

Just a suggestion,
