    Hi Modx,

I was wondering if we could put some more ajax into the system, I was thinking about:

loading a different page without refreshing> a nice loader image in the menu, breadcrumb and content div to change the content in a more subtle way

adding scriptaculous events to loading content

Lightbox built in support for images and the like

    This could be interesting:)

Well, if you mean the backend, any improvement would be appreciated but please note that from 0.9.6 and on, script.aculo.us is out of the picture and everything has switched to mootools now wink Download 0.9.6 RC1 to check this out !

And generally speaking, jQuery and mootools are considered more efficient (and degrade better) than script.aculo.us... things are moving fast in the javascript/ajax frameworks nowadays... a few months ago script.aculo.us was the best and leader...

I’m open for everu improvement, but please don’t use scriptaculous and prototype.
150kb of Ajax is far from usability which needs fast loading pages even if users don’t have fast connections.

Go for Mootools or other "low weight" packages.
