Can anyone tell me what the point is allowing clients to edit a chunk, snippet, document, etc but not save it?
I can’t think of a situation where they’d need to make edits to a document but never save them?

Change "Edit" to "View" and then you’ll better understand it. I don’t know how much use it would be normally, but I use it for my site where visitors can log in and poke around my Manger to see how the site is set up, but can’t change anything.
