Manager Interface Access denial

I’d like to deny acces to the manager interface, and allow certain roles to only edit specific pages in the site thorugh the quick edit feature. I see a check box for this kind of thing but it should be in roles.

P.S. it doesnt currently do much more than throw javascript errors

naw man, I just havn’t seen any progress in the area. Thought i’d try to bring some eyes back to it.

You could do a plugin and attach it to the various manager events to redirect the user away from there based on his role..

that’s a pretty good idea. Of course I’ll need to bone up on my plugin creation skills.
