    Hello

    I’ve just D/L MODx-095-RC2-r1942
I gonna upgrade my test site toward this version ... but still not a single word about upgrading huh
Could you put some few words about it in the README-en.txt ?

My test site is near production (let say it is in RC state wink ) and so the lack of upgrading information becomes (for me) woring.
Don’t need a full doc... But I haven’t read any doc about upgrading procedure, the best way of ... or something like that

I should have search again before posting my message.

BTW, I did procede as always... it worked fine wink (last time wasn’t so fine that’s why I worried)

There have been a great job ! I realy liked the "MODx features" directory ... I just wondered how to get the samples for seeing the imporvements but without destroying pages I’ve reused

When 0.9.5 is released properly, you’ll be able to play with the demo at OpenSourceCMS, and much of the code from the pages will also be available in the Wiki, broken down by feature.
No, I don't know what OpenGeek's saying half the time either.

I’m adding the following to the readme based on this thread. Thanks for opening it! laugh

              ----------------------------------
              UPGRADING PREVIOUS MODx INSTALLS :
              ----------------------------------
You should be able to upgrade to 0.9.5 from any prior MODx version. For detailed instructions and best practices, please see our wiki for some best practices for upgrading from previous versions:

              http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Upgrading_Guide

As with any upgrade, make sure you have a full backup including your config.inc.php file, all the items in your assets folder, and a current DB dump. If you’ve customized any default snippets, please make sure they are not named the same as the default snippets, and that if they include items in the assets folder, that you’ve modified the filesystem path and include lines as appropriate. If you don’t have a clue what this means, you should probably be OK, or might consider hiring someone to perform the upgrade for you.
