I’m actually using 0.9.5 beta 5 rev 1624. So not sure what the problem is. I’ll see about going to the latest SVN clean install and see if that doesn’t help.

Get the newest revision from svn, it should fix this issue.

        Newest SVN works great. Thx.

I have another question though. Is it possible to add an TV to a weblink thats in the menu?

Also I am thinking about writing a snippet to make the sitemap creation a little more dynamic. Like being able to add pages not associated with ModX. Would you see any conflict in using the table that the TV’s use to store the needed data? I was thinking about using a prefix_name to any data I added to avoid conflicts. There would be a multitude of variables that would need to be stored. Link title, url, whether they are visible, and so on. What would you suggest?

Yes, in the menu tree there is the option to add a new "weblink" which I used to link to pages that are not generated by ModX. When using Wayfinder to create a sitemap they show up.

I fixed the previous post, SVN should have been TV.

No, weblinks don’t have a template, so you can’t use TVs with them.

You could write a snippet that just takes the content of the document and redirects, and the content would just be the URL to redirect to (which is exactly what the MODx parser does to weblinks), only since it’s a regular document it would get parsed first, thus your TV would be used. Put the snippet in the template for your "redirect" pages, and give that template access rights to your TV.

Wayfinder can do what Susan described
