Chat Snippet Similar to Gmail Messenger

Is it possible to create a Messenger snippet in the modx CMS to have the same behavior as gmail chat? Allowing users login into the system to chat with each other.

I’m sure you could fine a script you could use at Hotscripts.com and other similar sites.

I believe that Gmail uses jabber I am testin a snippet I made that you can juse to send a jabber message to other friends or use the snippet as a notification messanger that the system could use to notify you directly instead of email when somthing happends.

it uses the class.jabber.php class from http://cjphp.netflint.net/ it works fine but i did not have the time to figre out how to make a chat client but as i understand in on the site from this class somthing like this is poible.
