document group modification

I would like to see the ability to select documents out of a list or type them into the document group. This could really speed up permission assignment. the same could be done with the user groups. I don’t think it would be terribly difficult to implement.

Desired addition: a new tab in "Managers Permissions" that allows one to add documents to "document groups", and users to "user groups",

Desired effect: make the tedious setup of document groups and user groups for larger site quite a bit faster.

Maybe a source of insipiration could be the "Document Template Changer" Module bundled with MODx since 0.9.2 if I am correct...

Yes indeed! TemplateChanger is very similar. (And it is quite complex too, has it’s own tree-view with check-boxes, for instance. But it’s all open source... )

The next release will have a bulk-change module. You’ll get to play with it in a public beta soon.
