User-dependent access permissions

Would anybody be interested in creating a module or something for, say, giving users permission to edit their own pages (the ones thet’d created) etc. I know its a more portal function. Maybe there’s an existing solution for that?

There has been more and more request for this, which is only normal since it would be useful, not only for portals but also for corporate websites (I am currently stuck with this on a project I am working on).

To my knowledge, there is not existing solution except the "delete link" that Brett has worked on for a projet of his, which could give a pointer as to which direction could be taken...

Anyway, I’d be most interrested in such a module !
