In the interest of keeping up with good ideas and the compeition, I just thought I would ask if anyone had seen the Web Site Craft CMS. They have a demo/video which gives an idea of how things work.

It looks very cool and I especialy like the way the shapes editor works and the FlexO Code insertion method for important system variables.

Thanks Jeff for the pointer !

I am always looking on the competition, missed that one... uh, oh it’s not opensource I understand why... yet, you’re right good ideas also emerge from commercial products tongue

Their drop down menu doesn’t work properly in Mac FF - I think they’ve got the timing set incorrectly, the drop items are hard to hover on unless your really quick.

The first thing I look for when evaluating CMS’s is if their own site works properly .. of course we haven’t bothered looking past MODx since discovering it wink

Not bad, even if it is commercial smiley

I saw one little thing I liked especially. On their page properties they have a redirect field. I can see some use for that on occasion. Would’n be bad if MODx introduced something similar,.. although I suppose you could do that using weblinks.
