    Hi !
A cool feature for modx would be a "global" template variable editing :
_currently, in the backend we edit the site page by page, but for example if we want to modify the value of a template variable for all the pages, it’s quite long and boring ...
if we could edit the site by tvs, that would be cool, for example we choose to edit all the aliases of all the pages of the site, and then we can edit all the aliases of all the pages simultaneously ( meaning all the aliases values appears and can be edited on the same page ), without having to edit the pages one by one

furthermore, the ultimate editing system would be the ability to choose which tvs to edit, for which pages, in an AJAX system, and the manager displays all the values to edit on the same page

    bye !

( sorry if my english sucks ^^ )
i’m not a native english speaker, sorry if there are any mistakes ! smiley

You’re english is fine chucky -- much better than my (insert any other language besides english here). tongue

But yes, that is a very good feature idea. And in fact one of the great benefits of 1.0 will be the ability to build just about any manager interface imaginable with much less effort than it would take right now. In the meantime, we have a few bulk editing options planned for the next release to improve usability in this and similar areas of the current manager; though I’m not sure if it includes this feature or not.

Best bet might be to add a feature request to our bug tracking system for this, to make sure it doesn’t get overlooked when implementing additional bulk editing features in our current and future site managers.
