Getting started with modx (revolution), I am defining a resource type to represent performances. I’m trying to define a TV that includes date and time of the performance. I only see a template variable type of "Date", but no way to specify a time. I just need to define a custom timestamp, similar to the "Publish" and "Unpublish" page settings.

I can’t imagine this should be hard. What am I missing? Thanks.

Actually the DATE widget is the same as what you observed on the PUBLISH and UNPUBLISHED field in the manager.

      It supports Date Time.

      Give it a try.

This is not the case in Revolution. In Revolution, that time entry area is replaced with a "Today" button. There is no default TV type that supports both date and time. That’s why I was trying to create a custom TV type.

Perhaps this is really just a bug in Revolution?

          This is fixed in Revolution-2.0.0-rc-3:

          http://svn.modxcms.com/jira/browse/MODX-2062

          Thanks!!
