New friendly url method

I want to have a new choice of the friendly URL.my virtual hosting can’nt use mod_rewrite or .htaccess,can I use friendly URL as " http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/board,3.0.html " ?I think it’s easier to use

You must have mod_rewrite to use FURLs, and the later urls are SMF’s not MODx’s

I think there is a way to do the http://www.domain.com/index.php/url1/url2/url3/ without the needs of mod rewrite, but it needs some modification from the core system. So for now, it’s currently not being supported on MODx v0.9.1.
Could you post this on bug tracker system for MODx please? Hope someone will tackle this feature in the next few releases.

I know,I hope MODx can use the same method .for exampe ，now my url is http://modxcms.com/index.php?id=2,but I want use a friendly URL as http://modxcms.com/index.php/2.html ,use PHP’s PATH_INFO.

Please make a new feature request in the list. I believe we can have a few modification to do this. Don’t forget to post the bug number in this forum again.

Maybe a source of inspiration could be looking at Expression Engine or Dotclear’s code : both use path info...

The PATH_INFO stuff isn’t that hard to implement and it seems like a reasonable thing to do for 1.0. Can the original poster please file a bug tracker request for it and tag it for the 1.0 release?
